How our baby's growing:
Our baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — the lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Our baby weighs about 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip or an onion), and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom. It can move its joints, and its sweat glands are starting to develop. And those little fingers and toes now feature one-of-a-kind prints.Every now and again I have been feeling little flutters, like a butterfly wings, in my stomach! It's not a constant thing yet, but I'm pretty sure it's our little bean movin' around inside! I usually feel it as I'm laying in bed, right before I fall asleep. It's very strange in an awesome sort of way! I can't wait to feel it on a more regular basis. Makes me smile every time!
